As in organizations, schools, businesses, government bureaucracies and art centers the world over, Friday afternoon is just not quite like the rest of the week here at North Fourth. It’s anticipation of the whole weekend ahead that makes us all a little restless and silly and happy.
For example Drum Circle today:
To the rhythm of some very fine drumming, restaurant names were chanted with vigor and expectations of weekend visits to some of the favorites. “I like Pizza Hut”… “I like Sadies”…and 37 or 100 more! After awhile the exercise switched to music with rock ‘n roll definitely coming out on top and the drumming intensifying.
